SUPPORT OUR UNION, SUPPORT PULP'S BOOKS!

So I did suggest we'd have some exciting news this month and low it came to pass that Pulp's entered into a union - no not of the biblical kind - but with Alberto Ruiz, yes him, mister Process Junkie, the eye candy champion behind Brandstudio Press and now Trinquétte publishing!

Through Brandstudio Press and now Trinquétte Alberto has been providing new and established talents with a great platform for getting their work into print
and now we're giving him a helping hand co publishing via our imprint Pulp's Books!

Next week we'll be bringing you the work of these wonderful artists in these gorgeous books,

FEMALE OF THE SPECIES THE ART OF VIKTOR KALVACHEV
HC 48pp Color
So Viktor is an Eisner nominated cover artist and in a just world he's have won it, he's also an established comic creator as both a writer and an artist, with a particular facility for crime and noir subjects, check out his brilliant Pherones and Blue Estate and yet he still finds time to design games and bring up two children with his lovely wife, Ivana!
Viktor's excellent sense of form and color are given a good work out in this collection of illustrations of  - the always inspirational - beautiful women.

ANDREW WILSON PIN ME UP
HC 112pp Color Balck + White
Andrew is a talented artist on the low brow circuit based in the Pacific North West, he also works on assignments for gaming companies.
You'll be hard pressed to find a book as enjoyable as this, do check it out!

DANNY ORIZIO'S KUSTOM LOLITAZ
HC 48pp Color
Italian artist Danny Orizio has worked with Soleil, Heavy Metal and Wizards of the Coast, so these clients should give you a clue to his style and subject matter.
Still wondering? OK, he paints fantasy subjects and this great looking book focuses on gorgeous young ladies and futuristic machinery, rumour has it there's an audience for this sort of thing.

EMILIE DECROCK PINUPS & CO
HC 48pp Color
Freelance illustrator Emilie Decrock brings us a book sure to  appeal to our female readers, high fashion and excessive shopping are part of the mix, along with adorable cuteness.

Those looking for something a little rougher and tougher need go no further than,

OMNIBUS ART OF MARTIN ABEL
HC 48pp
Martin's illustration wizardry comes all the way from Oz, Melbourne to be exact, he's done editorial assignments for magazines covering such diverse subjects as heavy metal music to video games and he draws very wicked women very well.

JASON FELIX MAIL ORDER MONSTERS
HC 72pp Color, Black + White
Looking for some amazing images of horrific creatures and terrifying monsters? You need not look beyond this book by Jason Felix, he designs for the movies, and his forte is monsters and he really understands creepy and eerie. Those of you who have seen David Fincher's "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" will know the opening credits are accompanied by utterly horrific imagery, well that's Jason at work, consider yourselves warned!

KERON INVOKE
HC 48pp Color Black + White
So yes Keron Grant published a great little sketch book in 2006 called Invoke and this isn't it but it is a book of fabulous art work by Keron and it's called Invoke.
This is pretty much what Keron's been doing since the original Invoke and it includes beautiful women, mean machines and sundry subjects of desire but this time in a bigger format, sweet!

Then a little later in October these titles will be hitting our shelves,

MENTON3
HC 48pp Color, Black + White
Working out of Chicago artist Menton3 is probably best know to our audience as a cover artist at IDW, he illustrates disturbing images often featuring sacred and occult symbols in a style some what reminiscent of Ashley Wood's earlier work.

BOBBY CHIU & KEI ACEDERA PIECES OF WONDERLAND
HC 72pp Color
Back when Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland was rolling out in cinemas, the Arludik Gallery here in Paris ran a crowd pleasing show of incredible art by the two head artists from Toronto's Imaganism studio, Bobby Chiu and Kei Acedera, produced at the request of Tim to inspire his design team.
Finally this art is presented here in this co production between Trinquétte, Imaganism Studio and Pulp's Books, it's taken a while to get this book to market but the wait has been worth it!

Finally,

FROM PARIS WITH LOVE FELIX MEYNET
HC 48pp Color
Felix is well known in Europe for his series Les Eternals, Tatania K and Fanfoué des Pnottas, here he does what he does best by serving up a delightful collection of gorgeous Gallic girls, sure to be a hit both sides of the Pond.

And this is just the start of the collaboration between ourselves, Alberto and top artists from around the world.
In early 2013 we will release a second wave and there should be a third in the Summer or Autumn of that year.
Professional artists are welcome to contact Alberto or us, to see if we can work together to produce beautiful books of their work.
