Oh no, we're putting this time to good use, currently I'm engaged in trying to get books from Japan, while also arranging for the delivery from Korea of some books by an artist whose talent - I'm thinking and hoping - will blow our collective socks off!
From closer to home we hope to have a new little something from the amazingly talented Sebastian Kruger to announce very soon.
Also, we're doing some works here at the store, handy man Adnan will be re-enforcing our shelving to bare an even greater load of books, because this trickle of new releases will turn to a steady flow as the year progresses.
Finally, we'll shortly begin working on the store's website which will allow you to purchase books from us from the relative comfort of your own home!
Before mentioning this week's new arrival it's worth keeping in mind that we regularly receive restocks of the best selling titles and we also go in search of rare books, some of which came in this week.
Rare, out of print books now in house include, delightful children's stories by ace animation character designer Carter Goodrich, and gorgeous art books for Prince of Egypt and Open Season, these two have to be seen to be believed and these next few titles are also pretty attractive - even if they don't sound it - Hunch Back of Notre Dame, Hercules, Bug's Life and Atlantis, which includes design work from one of the film's principal designers Mike Mignola.

Drugs, a good or a bad thing, who's to say? Ah yes pharmacists, politicians and the police that's who!
Now the first group are worth listening to because they go through a pretty rigorous educational process to gain their title and status, equally what they can provide are also thoroughly tested and legal, though sometimes a bad drug does slip through the net to make a big pharma company a fortune before research finally says uh-oh user beware!!
The next groups are happy to make pronouncements but don't appear very well qualified to back up their talk, they're both charged with protecting society and yet they all too often cozy up to the few with power.
(Sure there are many diligent or brave men and women doing their office and the uniform proud but ongoing investigations in the UK show too many in the police thought they were better employed serving a Media Tycoon's interests and not those of the citizen, while over here the police will always carry the burden of having done the Gestapo's bidding.)
If you're wondering what I'm on about it's simply this, Metamorphosis is a collection of art by 50 contemporary surrealist and fantasy artists, such as H.R. Giger, Suzan Blac, David Bowers and 47 equally gifted artist, who all see things very differently.
And so if you buy this book then you'll have no call to buy banned drugs, which would put you at odds with politicians and the police, because it's pretty far out there, certainly it's off where Dali and his fried clocks are hanging out, maybe see you out there sometime!

Bonjour chers lecteurs, il n'y a pas beaucoup de nouveaux livres à presenter cette semaine mais nous ne voudrions pas que vous pensiez que nous restons assis à rien faire.
Oh non, nous utilisons ce temps pour accelerer certaines opérations, par exemple nous essayons d'obtenir des livres du Japon, tout en gérant une livraison de la Corée, elle contiendra les livres d'un artiste dont le talent - je pense et j'espère - vous eblouira.
Venant de plus prés nous esperons avoir une nouveauté de l'incroyable artiste Sebastian Kruger à annoncer pour bientôt.
Nous sommes egalement en train de faire quelques travaux ici au magasin, Adnan le bricoleur va réenforcer nos bibliothèques pour qu'elles puissent accueillir encore plus de livres, car au cours de cette année l'arrivée de nouveautés sera comme un flot incessant.
Et pour finir, nous allons commencer à travailler sur un site internet qui vous permettra de commander les livres de notre librairie depuis le relatif comfort de votre maison!

Nous avons donc reçu, de merveilleux livres pour enfant par Carter Goodrich qui est un character designer chez Ace Animation, et les magnifiques Art Books des dessin animés " Le Prince d'Egypte", "Les Rebelles de la forêt", "Le Bossu de Notre-Dame", "Hercules", "Mille et Une Pattes" et "Atlantis" incluant de nombreuses recherches par le principal designer qui n'est autre que Mike Mignola.
